Julia Morrisroe of Gainesville, Florida created the artwork surrounding the entrance of two restrooms in Concourse A. Focusing on the environment found around her, Morrisroe looks critically at the "stuff" that fills our space, that arrives in our mailboxes, that is marketed to us in catalogs or pop-up windows and imagines the metaphysical impact of this visual "stuff" on our society.
For this project Morrisroe will draw, redraw and finally paint patterns geometric, organic and found shapes that reference North Florida flora and fauna. Images are reverse painted on polycarbonate panels.
